Company car? 03/10/2012
 
When I arrived at work and saw this Amish horse and buggy tied to our Tribune parking for employees only sign I chuckled and wondered if we were all going to be issued new 'company cars.' I have to admit I wouldn't mind this, but today's playoffs in Wexford probably wouldn't make it into the paper until March 15. Meadville Tribune photograph by Richard Sayer.

Big loss 02/22/2012
 
Allegheny College basketball star Erica Restich went to the floor hard during a near the end of the season game putting her out for the rest of the season with an apparent knee injury. Restich was one of the team leaders and her loss was a big hit for the lady Gators as they were entering the playoffs. The Gators, despite having a home court advantage lost their first playoff game ending their season.
